Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Hydration in serum form. Sodium hyaluronate and glycerin, and very little else.

Hyaluronic acid holds water at the surface of the skin. That sounds minor until you understand that dehydrated skin makes fine lines look deeper than they are, and that a hydrated barrier tolerates active ingredients far better than a dry one.

How to use. On damp skin, morning and night, before moisturiser. Damp matters. Applied to dry skin in dry air, hyaluronic acid can pull moisture the wrong way.

Who should skip it. Nobody, but it does nothing on its own without a moisturiser over it to seal it in.
